I visited Sitaaray on a recent business trip to London on the recommendation of a colleague. We had booked in advance which was fortunate as they were quite busy but we were seated more or less straight away. We both opted for the £22.95 unlimited kebabs and curries option. The first kebabs arrived very quickly and no sooner had we finished them we were presented with samosa, then some curry, then more kebabs and so on for the next hour or so!! We didn't have to ask for any more they just kept arriving, in fact we had to tell them to stop when we got halfway through our second lap of the menu!
Aside from the food, the restaurant is quite a pleasant, intimate little place. the theme is bollywood with some nice film poster prints although some of the actor pictures seem a bit out of place.
This is definitely somewhere I would visit again if in the area and would certainly be my preference over somewhere like Brick Lane where you just get hassled constantly. In fact, if I am there with my colleague again I think I will be dragged there regardless - he loved it.
absolutely love this place... Such friendly staff, great food and an awesome night out
I've eaten at Sitaaray on Drury Lane, which had a good lively atmosphere and Bollywood movies on TVs on the walls. Quite affordable too for unlimited kebab promotion.
Sitaaray was the perfect place to take my other half for our anniversary. The restaurant is different, almost Indian Vintage with its own kwirky characteristics. It was intimate, the food was lovely, the staff were helpful. And with free NCP parking literally on the door step and free entry into the Tamarai night club, what more could you ask for. It was fun for sure.
We went with a large group of Sitaaray and had the all you can eat kebab & curry deal. There were a good assortment of veg & meat items, and it was a really good menu for a large mixed group - who all enjoyed the meal. The atmosphere in this restaurant was great with the Bollywood movies playing of tv screen around the restaurant, and the glitzy decoration of the venue. The tables upstairs are like large booths, so it was rather cozy for a large group but we managed fine.
